Narmadapuram’s clothes made from thread made in silk center located at Malachari will now be converted into four months. Till now, traditional printed Kurtsa of the silk cosa, including salwar suits, was being prepared in Bagh, Tasar, Maharashtra Print, Banarasi and traditional Bihar touch print saris.
After the advice of Governor Anandiben Patel, preparations are being made to replace the design of the traditional print. For this, artisans working in Hoshangabad Silk Center will be sent to Gujarat for training. There will also be a chance to work with artisans here.
